Gov. Nikki Haley will be in Charleston Oct. 15 for a town hall meeting tour called “The Movement” where she will discuss her forthcoming report cards for individual lawmakers and her legislative agenda.
Her Charleston visit will be the fifth on her tour. It is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the College of Charleston’s Alumni Memorial Hall in Randolph Hall, 66 George St.
Haley is expected to unveil her legislative report cards at her first town hall meeting, planned for 6:30 p.m. Oct. 3 at Winthrop University in Rock Hill.
The events are free and open to the public. The governor is expected to answer audience questions.
Her other stops include Dutch Fork High School in Irmo at 6 p.m. Oct. 4, Aiken City Hall at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 5, Bluffton High School at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 11, Byrnes High School in Duncan at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 17 and Francis Marion University in Florence at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 18.
