U.S. Sen. Tim Scott has postponed a series of events to offer South Carolinians ways to get help on federal issues.
Scott’s office said the winter weather across the state prompted the decision to postpones this week’s events.
The events will be rescheduled.
Scott’s office says the series allows his staff to meet with residents and offer assistance with federal issues in their own communities.
Scott says he often hears from people who need help in dealing with federal agencies like Social Security, Medicare and Veterans Affairs.
