SC senators delay acting on nominee for Revenue director

COLUMBIA, S.C. — A panel of state senators will decide next week whether to confirm Gov. Nikki Haley’s appointee to lead the state Department of Revenue, according to a story posted on The State’s website.

The senators decided Tuesday to wait a week before deciding whether to recommend the Senate confirm interim director Rick Reames for the post. The delay came after senators asked Reames about a massive 2012 hacking at the Revenue Department.
