A two-month narcotics investigation by Charleston police in the Ard- more and Orleans Woods neighborhoods culminated Thursday with the arrests of 13 suspects.

Police recovered $14,540 in cash, an unspecified amount of cocaine and related paraphernalia at a home on Evergreen Street, police public information officer Charles Francis said.

Antonio McCullough, 20, of Fleming Road; Joseph Hymes, 19, and Demetrius Davis, 32, also known as Demetrius Scott-Antwan, both of Evergreen Street; all are charged with two counts of distribution of cocaine base and distribution of cocaine base within proximity of a school.

Carlester Johnson, 45, Lord Universal Allah, 34, aka Reginald Thomson and Donald Criswell, 37, all of Evergreen Street; Chris Johnson, 19, and Damien Johnson, 24, both of Hazelwood Drive; Claude Sanders, 20, of Locksley Drive; Josh Nelson, 18, of Acacia Street; and Teneshia Coger, 19, of Lambs Road, are charged with one count of distribution of cocaine base and distribution of cocaine base in proximity of a park.

Randy Grant, 19, of Woodleaf Court, and Shon Turner, 19, of Vine Street, are charged with three counts of distribution of cocaine base and distribution of cocaine base within proximity of a park.

Arrest warrants also were issued for Jerome Gladden, 49, of West Robinhood Drive; Darren Moten, 22, of Byron Road; and Chavelle Warthaw, 19, of Dowling Street.

Magistrate Mary Holmes set bail on five suspects: Turner, $800,000; Davis, $600,000; Allah, $400,000; Carlester Johnson; $300,000; and Damien Johnson, $300,000, according to bond court.
