JAMESTOWN -- The population here could triple in an annexation referendum vote today.

Only registered voters in the area that would be annexed can vote.

The election is set for 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the library near the municipal center.

The Berkeley County town has 72 residents, according to the 2010 census. The area to be annexed includes 168 registered voters.
