COLUMBIA — The number of presidential hopefuls visiting the Palmetto State this week continues to grow.

Hillary Clinton has announced she’s returning to South Carolina on Thursday. She is expected to hold a discussion with South Carolina mayors and local officials at the Brookland Baptist Church Banquet and Conference Center in West Columbia at 10 a.m., according to a news release by her campaign.

That same day she heads for the Upstate, where she’ll hold a forum to discuss her “economic vision to help South Carolinians get ahead and stay ahead.” The 2:15 p.m. event will be held at Heritage Hall at Greenville Technical College Northwest Campus.

Clinton won’t be the only presidential hopeful in town on Thursday. Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry will be swinging by Bluffton at Magnolia Hall to participate in a forum on national security issues. That event starts at 2 p.m.
