Gov. Nikki Haley won’t be on the road endorsing Florida Sen. Marco Rubio ahead of Super Tuesday but will do appearances for him in March to coincide with the Florida GOP primary.
Haley will do two events in Florida on March 12, speaking to Republicans in Pinellas County, which includes St. Petersburg, and Sumter County, in the central part of the state.
Haley endorsed Rubio ahead of last week’s South Carolina GOP primary, giving him at least a 4 point bounce in the turnout, according to a study by the College of Charleston.
U.S. Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., will appear on Rubio’s behalf this weekend in Georgia.
