Former South Carolina first lady Jenny Sanford said "I do" to a Louisville investment banker over Easter weekend.

Her husband, Andy McKay, runs the investment banking division for Hilliard Lyons.

They were married in an outdoor wedding at a private location on Sullivan's Island. The pair had announced their engagement in January.

"Rejoice!" the new bride gushed in a wedding photo she posted on her Instagram account.

The "likes" on the photo had surpassed 200 by Monday night.

Among the well-wishers? U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, a former South Carolina governor.

"Congratulations! You deserve a life of great love and laughter. We are so happy for both of you," Haley wrote.

Haley added three emojis to her congratulatory comment: A red heart, champagne glasses clinking and a party popper.

Sanford served as the state's first lady beginning in 2003. Her marriage to then-Gov. Mark Sanford split apart following his admitted infidelity, and they divorced in 2010.

She told The Post and Courier she hopes friends will refer to her as Jenny McKay but understands some may address her as Jenny Sanford McKay.
