Daily Show pokes fun at South Carolina's Republican primary

This screen capture from "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" website shows former S.C. congressman Bob Inglis being interviewed by the Daily Show's Jordan Klepper for a segment on the primary race for the U.S. Senate seat held by Sen. Lindsey Graham.

South Carolina's upcoming GOP primary got some attention Monday from Comedy Central's "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart."

Stewart introduced a segment by Daily Show reporter Jordan Klepper by asking, "How can conservative voters tell who is the real Mr. Right?"

Klepper says Republican members of Congress all over the nation are worried about primary opposition from the right, except for S.C. Sen. Lindsey Graham.

"Lindsey Graham is the most conservative person in the U.S. Senate race," Graham supporter and former U.S. representative Bob Inglis tells Klepper.

Then the camera switches to Bill Connor, who tells Klepper "I believe I am the true conservative in this race." Next up are two supporters of Lee Bright, who say that he is the most conservative.

Not mentioned in the segment were four other Graham challengers: Det Bowers, Richard Cash, Benjamin Dunn and Nancy Mace.
