COLUMBIA - The race for lieutenant governor is picking up momentum, as all four candidates step up their game with the June 10 primary approaching.

Mike Campbell continues his seven-day tour in throughout the state's 46 counties today, with seven stops in the Upstate. The stops include speeches, and meet and greets.

Earlier today, Henry McMaster released his first television campaign ad of the season featuring the family's three-year-old bulldog.

Last week, Pat McKinney spent his day campaigning with U.S. Rep. Mick Mulvaney in Rock Hill and Fort Mill. Mulvaney endorsed McKinney in December. At the time of the endorsement, Lt. Gov. Glenn McConnell had not announced whether he'd seek re-election.

And Ray Moore received national attention in April, when the Huffington Post featured a speech he gave in Charleston about his thoughts on public schools.

With less than a month left until the primary, expect to hear more from the candidates.
