Seven current or former Wando High School students pleaded guilty Wednesday for their roles in the August 2006 armed robbery of a Mount Pleasant Food Lion.

The teens were part of a group of 10 who were charged in the crime. One has already pleaded guilty while two are facing more severe armed robbery charges, including for the separate robbery of a Subway sandwich store.

Six of the teens accepted plea offers from the 9th Circuit Solicitor's Office on charges of conspiracy to commit armed robbery and accessory after the fact of armed robbery.

The seventh, a late-comer to the conspiracy, pleaded to one court of accessory after the fact of armed robbery.

Sentencing will come later after reports are completed on each of the youths, including on their conduct since being arrested.

The teens acted as lookouts while a gunman entered the store on South Morgan's Point Road in a crime that stunned one of the area's more affluent high schools.
