The Charleston County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who robbed a James Island convenience store early Thursday morning.

The manager of the Scotchman at 1907 Maybank Highway said a man snuck up behind her as she was walking into the store just after 5 a.m. The man showed the manager a gun and demanded money. He followed her inside the store and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The Sheriff's Office said the suspect is a black male, estimated to be 5' 10" and about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and a red bandanna, fleeing down Flemming Road.
