A Hollywood man says four men kicked and punched him and stole $200 from his wallet on a downtown street early this morning.

The 32-year-old victim told Charleston police he was in front of 155 Jackson St. at 1:40 a.m. when four men approached him from behind and struck him multiple times. The men took his cellphone and the money from his wallet before handing him back the wallet, according to an incident report.

Witnesses to the incident called police later this morning and reported that they saw two of the suspects walking down Calhoun Street near the Charleston library. The suspects are black males wearing black shorts and white T-shirts.
