GREENVILLE — Police have found a stolen car they think is connected with the shooting death of a man found in a church parking lot in Easley.

Pickens County Assistant Sheriff Tim Morgan says deputies found 48-year-old Sean Timothy Dinneen’s car Monday afternoon in Greenville. .

Dinneen died Saturday night when he was shot in the parking lot of Crosswell Baptist Church following an argument.

Sheriff’s Capt. C.L. Hudson says he was told the Easley man was selling a car when the dispute occurred.

Coroner Kandy Kelley says an autopsy Monday indicated Dinneen died from a single gunshot wound to the chest.

A witness who lived across from the church says he heard an argument, some glass breaking and one or two gunshots.

No arrests have been made.
