The S.C. Aquarium's new star attraction, four warm-weather penguins, flew in to Charleston this week.
Not literally, of course.
The flightless birds were airlifted from SeaWorld San Diego in preparation for their March 21 debut at the aquarium's Penguin Planet exhibit.
The exhibit is set to run for a year. It will showcase Magellanic penguins, a threatened species primarily found in Chile, Argentina and the Falkland Islands.
The penguins stand about 2 feet tall and weigh about 10 pounds.
Aquarium officials said they are adjusting well after their cross-country flight.
