Co-op to hold energy-saving workshop

Berkeley Electric Cooperative will be holding a series of energy efficiency workshops for its members in September.
The workshops will focus on low-cost/no-cost energy tips as well as the benefits of the HomeAdvantage program, a low-interest loan program that helps members lower their energy bills while improving the comfort of their homes.
The workshops will also feature presentations by the Sustainability Institute of Charleston. The workshops are free to attend and will be held at each of the BEC district office in Goose Creek from 6-7 p.m. on Sept. 10.
Berkeley Electric Cooperative is the largest electric cooperative in South Carolina. Headquartered in Moncks Corner, SC, BEC has approximately 250 employees and serves over 85,000 members in Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties with district offices in Moncks Corner, Goose Creek, Johns Island and Awendaw.
