Andrew Brown writes another informative article clarifying the SCANA/Santee Cooper debacle as it relates to our Columbia politicians and their responsibilities.
It appears that there is much bobbing and weaving going on while waiting for something to happen that would ease the burden of making a decision or making no decision at all.
Between the Statehouse, the Public Service Commission members, and the respective utilities involved, it seems that they are all asleep at the switch. Brown’s article makes one wonder if these responsible players even know where the switch is.
Here is a heads-up for all involved in the solution — don’t blow it. You have more than 700,000 ratepayers out here.
