South Carolinians are just about the most tireless, dedicated workers a business could ask for. Yet Boeing flight-line workers in North Charleston are making 30 percent less than their counterparts out West — while doing the same work with the same tediously learned skills and hard-earned certifications.

When you mistreat working people — through meager pay, threatened layoffs and a litany of other insults — we won’t sit quietly.

These Boeing workers have proudly stood up for the fair treatment that they’ve earned. What’s more, as union membership continues to surge in South Carolina and throughout the country, they have a growing movement of brothers and sisters watching their backs.
