On the July 16 ABC evening news, it was reported that $2 million had been raised for the Emmanuel AME Church victims. Good job, Charleston.

But in the July 17 Post and Courier is an article about the closing of the Big Brother, Big Sister program for lack of funding.

This is a vital local program if we want to stop young people from shooting each other, or anyone else for that matter.

OK, Blackbaud, Boeing, City of Charleston, Charleston County and everyone else, now is the time to support our youth.
