In a Jan. 19 guest column in The Post and Courier, the executive director of the South Carolina Petroleum Council wrote that “in a poll released just last month, nearly 7 out of 10 state voters said they support offshore energy development.”
Since that date I have done my own polling on the Isle of Palms, involving over 500 people, and have yet to find one “state voter” for offshore drilling.
Yep, a solid 10 out of 10 against.
Where did the director conduct this poll?
In her office at the S.C. Petroleum Council?
