In response to Ed Buckley’s wish for reduced tuition, I say that we should take care of our legal citizens first.

When I deployed to the Middle East in 2008, my daughters moved to where their father’s family lives, and both had to pay out-of-state tuition. I am frankly offended by Mr. Buckley’s proposition.

Many immigrants came to this country legally, including my own stepfather, who had to wait his turn.

To bend over backwards to help the children of lawbreakers while ignoring the contributions of our military families is disgusting.

These children are not being denied an education; they are only being required to pay for it.
