I am tired of Mount Pleasant residents referring to trailers being used as classrooms as if they are a blight.

Incredible people throughout our country have been raised and live in trailers, otherwise known as mobile homes. But more importantly, bricks and mortar do not educate our children, parents and teachers do.

Please mind your prejudices. I lived in a “trailer” with my wife and daughter while going through military training as I entered my 27-year career. The rent was not paid by the government because I was too junior. It came out of my $396 a month salary.
