Taxpayers, and more so parents, should be, if they are not already, troubled by officialdom calling for fiscal responsibility and accountability in the Charleston County school system when it is so sad and horrific to read that five of the lowest performing high schools in the state are in Charleston County. And only nine out of 540 graduating seniors from those schools were college ready.
Inquiring minds would like to know if at least 534 of the graduating seniors were job ready.
