To those who are so concerned with “exposing” panhandlers there is a great solution and possibly a more productive use of your time.

I carry a bag of fruit and a case of Cliff bars in my car.

If I encounter one of our city’s panhandlers I give them a Cliff bar and a piece of fruit.

I have always received a grateful thank you or “God bless.”

Time spent doing for others (as opposed to figuring out what others don’t deserve) will enrich your life as well as those you help.
