Sen. Ted Cruz has become an official candidate for president, and I think he should be declared ineligible. Why? Because he can’t do arithmetic, and such simple skills should be a requirement for the highest public office.

Recently Cruz has spoken of reassigning 110,000 IRS agents to duties guarding our southern border; yet even counting clerical staff, the IRS has only about 82,000 employees with 14,000 of them agents.

Now if Cruz can do simple math, then he must be deliberately citing incorrect numbers, which surprises me. I was raised in a devout Christian family, and early on my life I learned that untruthfulness was a sin.

So is Cruz for real, or is he one of your sleazy politicians in an evangelical disguise?
