God help the citizens of Baltimore’s inner precincts. Their lives are not only tough but incredibly dangerous, more than in part due to the failure of the 50-year-old “War on Poverty.”
On top of all that their well- being and safety have been turned over to a frighteningly incompetent mayor and a child-like, clearly unqualified prosecutor.
The police have assumed a defensive posture, lest they be crucified, and armed thugs are ruling the roost. As the wise man for whom I once worked would ask, “Where do we go from here?”
