I have been watching with interest the construction of the small new Theodora Park at the corner of George and Anson streets. I was delighted to see the finished product. It is very nicely done. What a shame that skateboarders damaged tiles around the fountain, spoiling the enjoyment for everyone else.

I hope a more permanent sign that prohibits skateboarding will discourage further damage once the temporary fencing is removed. Otherwise, further measures such as a security camera may be required. Many thanks to the City of Charleston Parks Department for the wonderful job they do maintaining our beautiful parks.
