A basketball season that has absorbed a variety of blows due to COVID-19 took a turn through Paul Knox Middle School Jan. 11, with North Augusta Middle School providing the visiting squads. The Patriots prevailed in both games: 41-7 in the girls contest, and 53-35 in the boys action. The evening's action left North Augusta's girls with a 1-2 record for the season and Paul Knox's girls at 6-0 overall, while North Augusta's boys were at 1-2 and Paul Knox's boys climbed to 4-0.
