Jarvis home to be featured on Christmas Tour of Homes

Jarvis home

Located in Woodstone is the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Jarvis, which will be featured on the Christmas Tour of Homes.

The 33rd annual North Augusta Christmas Tour of Homes sponsored by Beta Sigma Phi Sorority will be celebrated December 3 and 4. The tour begins with a candlelight tour on Friday evening from 5:30 until 9:30 p.m. and continues Saturday with tour homes open from 11:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Located in Woodstone is the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Jarvis. This three bedroom, three and one-half bath, board and brick craftsman home was customized by Mr. and Mrs. Jarvis and was built by Forrest McKie in 2016. The first level features an open floor plan with a spacious kitchen built to accommodate the owner’s love for cooking and entertaining. The breakfast area and sunroom contain bright open windows that face the rear of the home and overlook a private wooded lot. French doors from the breakfast area lead out to a back porch that provides a comfortable indoor/outdoor living space. The first floor also features the master suite, the younger daughter’s bedroom, and a recently converted “man cave” for Mr. Jarvis. The second floor of the home features a bonus room and bathroom that was recently remodeled for the older daughter. The Christmas trees are adorned with handmade ornaments from their children and ornaments from their travels and from gifts to the family. The home’s furnishings display Mrs. Jarvis’ eclectic taste and create a bright, charming, and cozy home.

Along with the home in Woodstone, the historic Charles Hammond House on West Martintown Road will be showcased. The tour will also feature the homes of Regina Redding in The River Club, Charles and Beverly Moody in Campbell Towne Landing, and Chris and Courtney Wolbert in The Colony. In addition to the five homes, Tour of Homes guests are invited to peruse the Arts and Heritage Center’s Galleries and Gift Shop while enjoying refreshments and holiday music.

Tour tickets may be purchased in advance for $20 beginning November 1 and ending at 2 p.m. on December 3 at the following locations: Jim Bush Flowers and Gifts, CommuniGraphics, Parks Pharmacy, and Arts and Heritage Center in North Augusta; Consign Design in Martinez; and Plum Pudding in Aiken. During tour hours tickets may be purchased for $25 at any of the tour stops. All persons touring, including children in arms, must have a ticket. Tour tickets may also be purchased online from November 1 until December 1 at www.natourofhomes.org. Additional information about the tour is listed on the website and on Facebook at North Augusta Christmas Tour of Homes Beta Sigma Phi.
