Local and regional artists will showcase their work during the North Augusta Cultural Arts Council’s SpringFest Reception on March 12 from 5-7 p.m. at the Arts and Heritage Center located in the North Augusta Municipal Building at 100 Georgia Avenue.
Each participating artist was allowed to present two pieces of their artwork, all of which are eligible for Best in Show and first, second, and third place awards. The show will be judged by Craig Brasco, a professor of art at Kennesaw State University.
The public is invited to the reception, which is free. Hors d’oeuvres will be provided.
“We are pleased to showcase varied and diverse forms of art created here in our own community.” said NACAC member Donna Hallman. “It is a unique opportunity for any artist to share their work and for the public to see the outstanding talent in the region. We invite the public to come and support our artists and enjoy the reception.”
The SpringFest Exhibit will continue on display from March 12 to May 3 at the Arts and Heritage Center, which is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the first Sunday of the month from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
