A victim was taken to a local hospital Saturday night after a stabbing aboard a CARTA bus in North Charleston.

Police were called to an area around Tanger Outlet Boulevard about 7:30 p.m. Witnesses told police that the suspect ran from the bus toward International Boulevard.

The victim was taken to Medical University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect was described as a black man about 6 feet tall, 30-35 years old, with a bald head and wearing a blue shirt.
