Gloria Chapman wants to know who killed her son.

The body of 30-year-old Corey Lamont Chapman was discovered two years ago Saturday by children on their way to school near Ashley Phosphate Road.

North Charleston police say they talked to dozens of people in the days following his death on May 28, 2009, but have received few leads since.

Chapman thinks somebody knows more than what they’ve told police.

“We do feel like it’s somebody he knew or we might know,” she said. “I just feel like somebody’s out there, they know something and they’re just not saying anything.”
