Three vehicles were found submerged in a creek in the Hollywood area, authorities said Monday.
The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office was told by a caller at 3:30 p.m. about a vehicle in the water in the area of Peter Miller Bridge, on U.S. Highway 17 and at Rantowles Creek, Sheriff's Office spokesman Maj. Jim Brady said.
The Sheriff’s Office Underwater Recovery Team and Marine Patrol are at the scene investigating.
Three vehicles have been located and none of the vehicles appear to have been occupied, Brady said.
He said that once the vehicles have been checked the team will return Tuesday morning to remove the vehicles from the water and work to identify them.
