About 100 marijuana plants worth around $100,000 on the street were confiscated in Reevesville on Tuesday, according to the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office.

The Dorchester County/Summerville Police Metro Narcotics Unit got an anonymous tip that marijuana was growing behind an abandoned mobile home at 211 White House Lane, Chief Deputy Sam Richardson said today. Investigators could see the plants through a power line access and got permission from the property owner for a search.

Besides the marijuana growing behind the trailer, they found several plants that had already been harvested and were drying out in another mobile home, he said.

The Sheriff’s Office has a suspect and will be pursuing charges, Richardson said.
