Charleston police are looking for a man who robbed a West Ashley pharmacy early this morning.

Officers responded to the CVS at 2152 Savannah Highway about 5:30 a.m.

Employees told police a black male between the ages of 21 to 45, about 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-9, weighing 160 to 190 pounds, walked into the business with a gun and demanded money, according to an incident report.

The man ran from the business with an undisclosed amount of money.

Detectives don’t believe the robbery is related to other recent pharmacy holdups, department spokesman Charles Francis said.
