Ashley Park retirement community will sponsor a fundraiser to benefit Outward Bound for Veterans, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1451 Tobias Gadson Blvd. in Charleston. Ashley Park will host a silent auction from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and a 50/50 raffle at 4 p.m.


Re-enactors will portray soldiers of the major periods of Fort Moultrie's history, from the Revolutionary War through World War II. Visitors will see a variety of programs, including the progression of uniforms from 1776-1947, historic weapons demonstrations, children's musket programs, drills and garrison duties. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free event.


Veterans get free admission to Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum through Sunday. Uniformed re-enactors will be on hand with equipment, World War II through the Vietnam era.

Remnant Productions will present a play about homeless veterans. It will be performed at 4 p.m. in the Sterett Hall Auditorium at the Navy Yard, 1530 7th St. General admission tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors and students with ID. For information 324-7794.
