SUMMERVILLE -- Four vehicles and a vacant apartment were struck by bullets Thursday at a Summerville apartment complex, police said.

About 11 p.m., police were called to the parking lot of the 500 building at The Tradition at Summerville for a report of shots fired, according to police Lt. Thomas Peterson. The Tradition is on Marymeade Drive off the Berlin Myers Parkway near North Main Street.

No one was injured, but a vacant apartment and four vehicles were hit. Police recovered at least two dozen spent cartridges, he said.

According to an incident report, residents reported hearing from six to 18 gunshots and seeing men in the parking lot shooting at each other. Several vehicles were seen driving away from the scene.

Police have no suspects and the incident is under investigation. Anyone with information about the incident should call Summerville police at 871-2463 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
