Man pleads to manslaughter in fatal 2010 shooting, gets 12-year sentence

One man accused of gunning down another after a fight pleaded guilty to manslaughter Tuesday afternoon.

A judge sentenced Thompson White, 52, to 12 years in prison on the charge. White shot and killed 45-year-old Eugene "Lamar" Evans on Sept. 21, 2010, outside White's Nunan Street home in downtown Charleston.
