Two men and a woman were injured in a Wednesday afternoon drive-by shooting on Hunters Ridge Lane, North Charleston police said.

Officers responding to the 3:15 p.m. shooting quickly stopped a blue Chrysler Pacifica that matched the description of the suspects' vehicle, Capt. Scott Deckard said.

Investigators charged Michael Anthony Brown, Jr. 17, of Winchester Street and Benjamin Antwan Green, 18, of Cooper Street with six counts of attempted murder and two counts of discharging a firearm into a dwelling. Green is also charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

Deckard said a 35-year-old woman was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound to her arm. A 36-year-old man suffered a graze-type wound to the head, and a 19 year-old man was shot in his foot. None of the injuries are considered life-threatening, he said.

A preliminary investigation reveals that they, and at least three other people, were standing on the porch of an apartment when a blue Chrysler Pacifica stopped on the roadway in front of the residence, and shots were fired, Deckard said.

He said shots struck the victims and the residence, and two vehicles in the parking area in front of the residence.

The suspects' vehicle fled the scene after the shooting, and officers given a description stopped a vehicle with two men inside on Windsor Hill Boulevard, Deckard said.

A weapon was recovered from the scene.
