UNION — Authorities say they've arrested a South Carolina teacher and accused him of having child pornography.

The Union Daily Times reported Friday that 46-year-old Samuel Roger Worley Jr. has been released from the Union County jail on $30,000 bond. He was charged Thursday with second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Arrest warrants state that Worley received, sold or purchased material that depicted minors engaged in sexual activity. Authorities think he used a file-sharing network at his home.

Worley is the music teacher at Monarch Elementary school. A call to the Union County school district official was not immediately returned.

It's unclear if Worley has an attorney. A message left at Worley's home was not immediately returned.
