The Stono Bridge has reopened after briefly closing to traffic Thursday. Charleston police have found a body in the nearby marsh.

Officers were searching for a possible suicide victim after they heard a gunshot come from the marsh. After closing the Stono Bridge to traffic for nearly an hour, police said they located a body. The identity of the deceased has not been released.
