The mayors of the Lowcountry's largest cities soon will give updates on how they're doing.

At 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Charleston Mayor John Tecklenburg will give his first State of the City Address immediately following a City Council meeting in Founders Hall at Charles Towne Landing, 1500 Old Towne Road.

It's touted as the first such address given in West Ashley. All the others have been delivered from City Hall downtown. The address will be carried live on WCIV-TV Channel 4.

At 7 p.m. Thursday, North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey is giving the city of North Charleston’s State of the City address at North Charleston City Hall, 2500 City Hall Lane.

Summey's address will be prerecorded and played during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting. It also will be streamed live on YouTube and on the city's Facebook page. Following the initial presentation, it will be displayed on the city's website.

Mount Pleasant Mayor Linda Page will deliver her prerecorded State of the Town address before Town Council at 6 p.m. on Feb. 14 at the town of Mount Pleasant Municipal Complex, 100 Ann Edwards Lane. It also will be streamed live on YouTube.
