A 29-year-old man is accused of stabbing four people during an argument Saturday in a West Ashley pub parking lot, according to Charleston police.

Joshua Nix is charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of second- degree aggravated assault and battery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, police spokesman Charles Francis said.

He said that about 11 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the parking lot of Mueller's Pub at 630 Skylark Drive off Savannah Highway, where a man had stabbed four people. One victim was stabbed in the ribs and transported to MUSC, where he was listed in stable condition. The three others each had non-life-threatening injuries and were treated and released. Nix was arrested at a nearby motel.
