SIMPSONVILLE — The Highway Patrol says one person has been seriously injured after a morning wreck involving a school bus in Greenville County.

Cpl. Bill Rhyne says the wreck happened around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday near the Greenville Tech Brasier Campus in Simpsonville.

Rhyne says the driver of a pickup truck that collided with the school bus was seriously hurt. Greenville County school district officials say students from Woodmont Middle School were on the bus, but information on student injuries was not immediately available.

Troopers say the road is blocked.
