JumpBunch

What: JumpBunch introduces kids to a new sport each week in a noncompetitive manner. They learn the basics and rules with plenty of time to practice and improve skills. Recommended for ages 2-5.

Prehistoric Pals

What: Walk in the footsteps of dinosaurs and shake claws with the giant ground sloth. Part of Kid Tours, which meets the first Wednesday of every month at 3:30 p.m. and include a craft project or activity.

Gyotaku

What: In the 1800s, Japanese fishermen used block prints to record and document large and unusual catches. Make fish prints with rubber fish models or your own catch (bring nonliving whole fish on ice). Bring a white T-shirt if you prefer to make wearable art. Gyotaku, the Japanese "fin" art class for home-schoolers, is limited to 15 children; register online or email mhorton@charlestonparksconservancy.org to pay by check. Checks accepted only the day of the class.

Yoga Benefits Kids

What: Children improve motor skills as they take journeys through different lands while flying high like a butterfly and barking in the downward dog. Recommended ages 2-5.
