Search warrants served last week in peninsular Charleston netted three arrests, plus money, drugs and two handguns — one of which had been reported stolen — Charleston police said Monday.

The police department's Special Investigations Unit executed search warrants at residences on America Street and Maverick Street, police public information officer Charles Francis said.

On Wednesday, at 3 Maverick St., police confiscated a gram of cocaine, about 7 grams of heroin and a handgun. Mark Tyrone Tollerson, 45, of that address is charged with possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, possession of heroin within close proximity of a school and possession of cocaine, Francis said.

He said that on Thursday, police searched 54-A America St. and confiscated 20 grams of cocaine, $1,500 in cash and a stolen handgun. Terrell Jamar Jenkins, 29, is charged with trafficking cocaine and possession of a stolen handgun; and Michael Rashad Jenkins, 24, is charged with trafficking cocaine. Both men lived at 54-A America St., Francis said.

All three suspects are being held in the Charleston County Detention Center.
