A North Charleston man said he was robbed at gunpoint this weekend outside of the Russelldale Community Center.

The victim told North Charleston police that he was at the community center at 11:19 p.m. Friday when a man emerged from behind a pylon and pointed a gun at his face, according to an incident report.

The man took the victim's wallet, cell phone and $32 in cash. The victim said he then ran away and was not hurt.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6-foot-4, 190 pounds and dressed in all black.

The case is currently under investigation.
