Charleston police are searching for three men in a dark red Jeep Cherokee in connection with a robbery Tuesday night in West Ashley.

A resident of Plantation Apartments on Carriage Lane was robbed as he walked home from a store about 8 p.m., according to a police report.

The men demanded money at gunpoint and cut the victim's face and knocked out two of his teeth with a handgun, the report says. They got away with $7.
