Charleston police officers released images of two men who they said robbed a CVS pharmacy on Johns Island.
Officers were dispatched to a CVS store at 2803 Maybank Highway shortly before 10 p.m. Friday, an incident report states.
The store’s cashier told police she greeted two men who walked into the business wearing dark pants and hooded jackets, but she never saw the their faces.
One of the men headed toward the store’s pharmacy counter while the other lingered in an aisle, police said.
The man at the pharmacy counter held up a multicolored, handwritten note asking for drugs, police said. The woman put several pill bottles in a bag and handed the drugs to the man, police said.
The woman told police she never saw a weapon. The two men fled out of separate exits, according to the incident report. Police described one of the suspects as being about 5 feet, 4 inches tall, wearing a brown, hooded jacket. The second man wore a black, hooded jacket and was about 5 feet, 10 inches tall.
Anyone with information on the men can call Charleston Police Department at 577-7434 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
