North Charleston police are looking for a man who robbed the Wachovia Bank on Rivers Avenue on Friday afternoon.

According to police, a black male between the ages of 25 and 35 with a slim build, wearing a gray shirt and black pants and a ball cap, walked into the Wachovia at 5561 Rivers Ave. around 4 p.m. He handed a teller a note. The teller gave him an undetermined amount of money and the man left on foot, running toward Taylor Street.

The man never showed a gun, and no one at the bank was injured. This particular Wachovia was robbed twice within a month in 2008 and has been robbed at least two times before, in 2000 and 1995.
